Billions delves into the world of high finance and the complex issues between good and evil when U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades goes head to head with the wealthiest hedge fund manager in New York, Bobby "Axe" Axelrod. The lines between right and wrong begin to blur as each man makes every attempt to outmaneuver the other. Chuck's own wife is a close friend and employee of Axe's. Chuck cannot back down and appear weak and defeated to his wife and wealthy father. Axe cannot back down because of pure ego, but somebody has to win.
