This time travel television series is based on the fiction series written by Diana Gabaldon. The series revolves around a World War II combat nurse, Claire Randall, who takes an unexpected backward journey from 1945 to 1743. She must instantly prepare to fight for her survival. A Highlander clan takes her under their wing. Her heart is won over eventually by a Highlander, Jamie Fraser, whom she was forced to wed. Together they brave various opponents, like the Redcoats of Britain, as they try to hold on to their sanity and impenetrable love.
