In a futuristic Los Angeles, survivors of a zombie apocalypse are just adjusting to the new realities of their lives. While the zombies continue to ravage the American south, they are just beginning to wreak havoc on the west coast. Two families find solace and protection in each other as they struggle together to survive. The zombies continue to pose a dire existential threat, but as long as these survivors can work together, they have a real chance to forge a future for themselves.
