It's 1977. American dancer, Susie Bannion, receives the opportunity of a lifetime: The Berlin Markos Tanz Company and its amazing art director, Madame Blanc, have accepted her as a new student and company dancer. Upon her arrival, Susie discovers that another dancer, Patricia, has disappeared in a mysterious fashion. At first, Susie doesn't allow this event to deter her efforts to train under Madame Blanc. She starts to shine under Madame Blanc's tutelage. Susie also makes friends with a dancer named Sara. Over time, as more mysterious events unfold, Susie and Sara begin to suspect that the Markos Tanz Company isn't all that it seems. The company's staff seem to have hidden a horrific secret from the dancers. Susie and Sara must discover it before they find themselves victims of a supernatural threat.
