Swedish tennis champion Bjorn Borg has been working hard all of his life and is poised to win his fifth Wimbledon title. However, talented American firebrand John McEnroe stands in his way. Both men have completely different styles; McEnroe is emotional and aggressive, while Borg is strong and controlled. McEnroe is prone to public outbursts, but Borg presents a calm front to the world. Underneath his smooth exterior, Borg has demons of his own. As the pressure mounts, Borg must find the strength to win the championship and defeat the abrasive McEnroe once and for all.
