Hannah Horvath is a young woman who feels as though she has a lot to offer the world as a writer. However, her parents have grown tired of paying all of her expenses while she waits for inspiration to strike, forcing her to find more traditional employment. She and several other girls in their mid-20s must find a way to navigate the strange world of adulthood together, dealing with myriad struggles in the process. Clearly, while they look like adults, most of them have not moved on from an adolescent mindset - the entitled Hannah least of all.
