When Tom is at a dinner event, his co-worker makes an entrance with a captivating date named Alice. Tom is sure that he knows her from somewhere, but she denies that the two have any history together. Alice quickly vanishes, and Tom goes after her. This chase leads to an all-night series of adventures shared by two individuals who are desperately in search of different things. One wondering how they can stop continually changing, and the other longing to make must-needed changes with their life.
