We've all made mistakes at one point or another in our life, and at times those mistakes have cost us dearly. This is the sad truth that A.J. Manglehorn must come to terms with as he reflects upon his life and his actions. As the lonely and strange old man recalls his life, he is faced with his inner demons and regrets. He calls into memory a crime which he committed long ago in the days of his wild youth, and realizes that his actions at that time quite possibly cost him the love of his life. How might his life have been different if he'd chosen different actions?
