Deb D'Orsay is a shallow, arrogant model who dies. She's not ready to accept her fate. While on the escalator to the pearly gates, she hits the reset button on her life. Unfortunately, she returns in the body of another. Jane is dying on the operating table when Deb returns to Earth. In her new body, Deb finds that she needs to reinvent herself since Jane was a plus-sized woman. She was also a shy, frumpy lawyer. Deb keeps her memories of her old life, but has to insert herself seamlessly into Jane's life.
