Geeky 11-year-old Adam lives with his boisterous Jewish family at the height of the 1980s. Bad fashions, loud music and strange cultural trends reign supreme, and his little family always seems to be right on the verge of mayhem. His family includes his brother Barry and his sister Erica, as well as his parents and his dynamic grandpa, who is just adjusting to life in a senior living community. Adam mostly manages to keep his head down and record all of the insanity for posterity with his video camera, knowing that future generations will crave this peek into the past.
