Key and Peele is a sketch comedy that takes the torch that Dave Chappelle carried for years. Both Key and Peele are former MadTV stars, and that same style carries over to Key and Peele. The show features both rehearsed and live skits that navigate racial and political issues in the funniest light possible. The show follows the format of Chappelle Show in another way - Key and Peele introduce pre-arranged sketches in front of a live audience. This gives Key and Peele a more spontaneous and free-wheeling attitude. Key and Peele focuses on the dominant political and racial issues of our time, but it's less light-hearted as it takes on everyday situations rife with cringe-inducing social blunders.
