7.8The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) stationed in Washington D.C. handle crimes that involve Navy and Marine personnel. Their Major Case Response Team is headed by Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Marine with a no nonsense approach to leadership and crime solving. His number two is Agent Tony DiNozzo a former Baltimore Homicide Detective who uses his quick wit and endless knowledge of classic films to balance out Gibbs' tactlessness. Other members of the team are computer savvy Tim McGee, newcomer Ellie Bishop, goth-genius lab tech Abby Sciuto and the literary medical examiner Dr. Donald Mallard. This team utilizes their combined talents to solve even the most obscure crime, allowing the Navy to do its job.
