Brilliant, but awkward Barry Allen is a crime scene investigator for the Central City Police who lives with a super secret. After being hit by lightening during a storm and covered with chemicals from his crime lab, Barry undergoes a transformation giving him the power to move at lightning fast speeds. Working with a team of scientists from S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry uses his power of speed to protect Central City from the criminal element as The Flash.
