Crossing lines is the story of a morphine-addicted retired police chief called upon to take over as the lead of a newly-formed investigative unit. Likened to a global FBI, it was formed at the bidding of the International Criminal Court (ICC). This team has no boundaries and their cases take them from one exciting European locale to the next. Their purpose is to track down fugitives, making sure they are punished to the full, and sometimes beyond, extent of the law. To outsiders they seem like misfits, but collectively they form a ruthless squad that no outlaw wants to be the target of.
