Ila is trapped in a marriage that has lost its passion. In an effort to get that spark back between her and her husband Rajiv, she makes him what she believes is a delicious lunch and has it delivered to his place of work. But there is a mix-up. The lunchbox goes to Saajan, an accountant who is close to retirement. After eating the lunch, he sends the box back to Ila with a note saying how much he enjoyed the food. Soon the two begin to correspond on a regular basis. What begins as a friendship soon takes on a more romantic overtone. Will Ila leave her husband and start anew with Saajan? More importantly, will Saajan let her?
