The Naval Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS) conducts its clandestine undercover operations and high profile crime solving from its Los Angeles-based Office of Special Projects. Key NCIS Agents G. Callen, Sam Hanna and Kensi Blye along with Marty Deeks, an LAPD detective on loan to the organization, conduct the necessary fieldwork. This team of operatives is helped by the assistance of high-tech surveillance, computer technology and intelligence analysis provided by the operational support staff of Eric Beale and Nell Jones. This elite group is supervised by operations manager Hetty Lange, a legendary former operative whose reputation is well deserved. They all work together, using their diverse investigative and operational skills, to solve crimes that threaten national security, whether in the U.S or abroad.
