Division is a secret organization within the government that trains individuals from the wrong side of the tracks and turns them into covert operatives. Nikita is one such operative, and after going rogue she's made it her goal to take division down. In her efforts she stumbles upon Alex, a young girl who's family was killed by Division. Nikita takes Alex under her wing and trains her, all the while gaining her trust and loyalty. When her old trainer Michael shows up to recruit Alex she's given just the opportunity she needs to gut Division from the inside. With Alex's help, Nikita is able to gain numbers behind her cause, but nothing ever works out for long when dealing with the tangled web of corruption and deception that is Division.
