One sunny and quiet day, an invisible dome slams down and encases a small town called Chester?s Mill. The mysterious dome is so strong that the neither the military nor sound can break through its impenetrable walls. Trapped inside are town residents and others who were simply visiting or passing through when the dome came down. Soon they realize that they need to act fast to organize and distribute the basic things that they need to survive, such as clean water, food and medicine. In the midst of the chaos of basic survival, a complex web of deep secrets begin to unravel about the people who are trapped inside together.
