"Wilfred," an American comedy, takes a look at the different ways a person can see the world, and turns it into something unique and funny. The show follows the story of the main character, Ryan. One day, while feeling extremely depressed, Ryan attempts to commit suicide by overdosing. The suicide attempt fails, but leaves Ryan with a strange aftereffect. Ryan now sees the neighbor's dog, named Wilfred, as a man dressed in a dog suit. As the series progresses, Wilfred and Ryan, who is sometimes asked to look after the dog, form a sort of friendship. Ryan, after his failed suicide, is still bipolar, and Wilfred often tries to help him progress in life. As the odd pair struggles to leave emotions like sadness, fear and guilt behind, hilarity ensues. In addition, characters that include Wilfred's owner, Jenna, and Ryan's sister, Kristen, help to progress both the story and the comedy.
