When tragedy strikes, sometimes the only way to deal with grief is to achieve the impossible. An introverted architect named Henry loses his vibrant wife and their unborn child in a fatal car accident. He tries to find meaning by continuing to build the house they had designed together. Yet, soon Henry begins to lose himself until he meets a homeless runaway teen named Millie who wants to cross the Atlantic Ocean on a raft so that she can leave behind her life and start fresh. As their friendship develops, Henry decides to help Millie achieve her seemingly impossible dream.
