Abby O'Brien, a divorced woman in her 30s, decides to move from New York City back to Maryland after getting some worrisome news from her parents. Thinking that a short visit to her hometown will be beneficial to her two children, Abby stays a little longer than planned as she helps her parents rescue their seaside bed-and-breakfast, but it does not take long for her to reconnect with an old flame and settle into a quiet life. Based on a collection of romance novels set along the Chesapeake Harbor, this television production is often cited as the most successful for the Hallmark cable network.
