Two men, Colm and Padraic, have maintained a friendship for many years when something suddenly changes. Padraic isn't quite sure what he's done to offend Colm, but Colm has declared that he would like to spend the rest of his life focusing on his music and he has no interest in spending any more time with his longtime buddy. Eventually, the entire Irish island they live on becomes swept up in the personal matter, with the breakdown of this friendship causing more trouble than anyone could have imagined.
