In this universe, the Devil abandoned his position and lives in Los Angeles, where he takes charge of a Lux nightclub. The show is based on the comic book series Lucifer written by Neil Gaiman, with art by Sam Kieth. Gaiman served as an executive producer for the first season of Lucifer alongside Tom Ellis and Ildy Modrovich.
