Set in flashbacks of Christmases past, Jake Doyle recounts how he scored his first Nintendo gaming console in the late 1980's. Jack wanted his own game system as the richest boy in town would make all the neighbourhood kids pander to him in order to play his games. Tired of the politics, Jack asks his parents for his own. However, they tell him no and that games are only going to rot his brain. He soon learns that a boy scout challenge provides the winner with a Nintendo. What follows is an adventure in learning what the best Christmas gift actually provided him.
