A group of people who have been forced to work together to shut down the most secret invention Finley Hart has ever created, a machine that may be the solution to all of humanity's problems. Two police officers are investigating Finley Hart's death. They find him dead in his home and believe he committed suicide because they find evidence of poisoning on his body. However, there are also signs of violence at his home, especially after discovering an old phone number listed under his contact information. They call this number and speak with Mary, who tells them everything she knows about Finley Hart. She reveals that he created this machine called "Zero Contact," which allows people to communicate without any internet connection.
