In the future, convicts are offered the chance to reduce their sentences in exchange for volunteering as medical subjects. One convict, who is administered a drug that makes them feel love, begins to question the reality of their own emotions. One medical facility seeks to push the boundaries of what is possible. The facility's experiments with volunteers get more and more extreme as the line that they will not cross becomes nonexistent for them.
