The animated action, adventure, and horror series, Castlevania, follows the journey of Trevor Belmont as he tracks down the evil Vlad (Dracula) Tepes. In this adaptation, the vampire Dracula seeks to destroy humanity after the public execution of his wife, Lisa, whom the church wrongly accused of heresy and witchcraft. Shortly after, Dracula creates an army of the dead to eradicate the inhabitants of the Wallachia. Belmont, whose family is renowned for fighting evil, enlists the help of a nomad, Sypha, and Dracula's son, Alucard, to vanquish the wicked vampire for good.
