When Tyson, a boy with autism, heads to the local public school after being homeschooled his whole life, he faces many challenges but none more difficult than learning how to connect with his sports-loving father. Everything changes when Tyson discovers a marathon is coming to his area. With the help of some key friends, he decides to learn to run and tackle the marathon, his social life, and his relationship with his dad head-on.
