Kin is a fair gang drama, involving a family that enter into war with an international cartel after their boy is killed in a gang-related murder. The war seems impossible for the family to win, it's a kind of David and Goliath type of war, the family is outnumbered, outgunned, and out-financed. The family finds themselves held up in their strongholds, with their businesses failing and their family members and friends being picked off. but there is one thing that they have that the cartel does not have, and that is the unbreakable bond of blood and family. Kin is set in a world where gangsters are treated like celebrities, it's a crime world with drugs, guns, murder, loyalty and family.
