Jake Wheeler has a tough life. His alcoholic father is abusive. His classmates openly mock him. Even Jake's cousin barely acknowledges his existence and allows his girlfriend to make Jake's school life a living hell. One of the few ways in which Jake can cope is through artwork by crafting sculptures using doll parts. When Jake comes across a vintage Good Guy doll named Chucky, he think it can inspire him and improve his life. Yet, after the acquisition, a series of murders start to occur all over town. Jake soon realizes that Chucky is far more extraordinary than he could have ever imagined.
