Every thirty years, the stars align in a way that makes the stones of the Black Road shine at their brightest. The only thing is, if someone is foolish enough to step on the Black Road during this time, they will be pursued by a creature of pure darkness. This creature will hunt them until they are caught and killed?or until they make it out of the forest alive. The last time the stars aligned again was eleven years ago. He knew that he should have listened to his father when he told him not to go outside at night during those times, but he was young and curious about what might happen to him and his friends.
