After his mother dies, 17-year-old Joshua is forced to move with his estranged relatives. Before long it is revealed that his grandmother and his three uncles hardened criminals under the watchful eye of the feds. His grandmother, the most volatile and sinister of the group, demands unwavering loyalty. After a series of unfortunate events, the family descends into a state of fear and paranoia.
