When a militia member, Ronald Whitlock, learns from police that his son was killed during a drug bust at home, he takes his anger out on the messengers in a violent and horrific way and then gathers his militia friends and mercenaries to take over a Georgia hydroelectric power plant. He threatens to flood the plant and county if his demands are met. A decorated Ranger and recovering alcoholic, Mack, works at the plant. On the day of the attack, he finds himself stuck trying to determine the best way to stop Ron and the other rogue soldiers before they thousands of innocent lives.
