Mom is a sitcom that centers around fighting addiction and the connections that a shared plight creates between people. Christy Plunkett is a single mother doing her best to recover from the addictions of her past. Moving to Napa Valley and regularly attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, she shares space with her mother, Bonnie, who is also trying to rebuild her life. The duo seeks not only to better themselves but also to relearn how to support one another through the conflicts that life throws at them.
