Before losing his life serving his country in Baghdad, 1st Sargent Charles Monroe King pens a 200-page journal to leave to his son. The contents of the journal include the information that King wanted his son to have access to in order to live a good life and become a productive member of society. It is based on a short story written by Dana Canedy, who was King?s fiance and the mother of his son.
