The Flash follows Barry Allen after his life is changed forever after being struck by lightning in a storm. With his newfound powers, Barry Allen, known as the superhero, the Flash, uses his new superspeed powers to protect the innocent and fight crime. He also uses them to try to solve an older mystery. At age 11, his mother died in a freak accident leaving his father wrongly accused and arrested. Barry uses his powers to figure out what really happened decades ago on top of fighting crime.
