Scott Lang (Ant-Man), his partner Hope Van Dyne (The Wasp) and Hope's parents who created the Ant-Man technology, Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, are a family of genius heroes.
It's no surprise that eventually Scott's brilliant daughter, Cassie, becomes part of their scientific endeavors. Yet, Cassie seems to surprise Janet when she tells them that she's found a way to send a signal into the Quantum Realm.
They could never guess the type of adventures that her action would force them to go on.
