Visions of a girl who mysteriously disappeared while he was in high school start to plague the otherwise seemingly normal and well-adjusted Fredrick Fitzell. Fredrick reaches out to old friends from high school with whom he used to do a drug called "Mercury" and realizes the only cure to these visions lies in the past. Fredrick must journey physically and mentally into his past to uncover the memories that hold the truth about Cindy, the girl who vanished.
