SFC Travis Fox has experienced years of horrific suffering and loss. While he was deployed overseas, Travis' parents died in a car accident. During his sixth deployment to a combat zone, an IED attack kills his entire Ranger platoon, including his closest and dearest military friend SFC Ron "Preach" Pearcy. To settle his parents' affairs and better understand their passing, Travis returns home. Yet, he finds himself struggling with complex post-traumatic stress disorder and survivor's guilt. He has also lost his faith. Members of the local church, including counselor Tiffany Robertson, become lifelines for Travis. With their help, he starts to once again appreciate life and Christian beliefs. Yet, Travis' journey to self-discovery isn't an easy path. He must try to hold onto his reignited faith and passion for life when he learns a horrible secret...
