After his recent move to a university in another state, freshman Alex is homesick with only a stuffed animal to keep him company. But when his hard-drinking roommate Sam drags him to a frat party, things take an unexpected turn. Alex meets quirky sophomore Maggie, and the pair spend a magical evening together walking and talking under the moonlight. Much to Alex's disappointment, Maggie acts unexpectedly cold the next morning. Since Maggie is a year older and just happens to be the RA of his dorm, Alex will have to face his fears and grow up to win her heart.
