When Big Bird and other residents of Sesame Street find themselves in Manhattan, New York, they have to navigate their way back with the help of a history show host who is dedicated to finding evidence of Sesame Street?s existence. All the while, a mayor with motives of his own tries to keep Sesame Street a secret from the world at large and attempts to thwart their efforts to get home safe and sound.
