Even when his wife narrowly recovers from a neurological disease, detective inspector Sorjonen is one of Finland's most esteemed agents at the National Bureau of Investigation. He also has Asperger's syndrome and displays savantism-related features. Sorjonen is taking up a new role in a new town originally heading the Serious Crime Unit in an attempt to provide his family with a more peaceful life. However, life there turned out to be anything but. Sorjonen's wife, a former Russian Lena is almost the polar opposite from her husband, which leads to lots of contention.
