Jim Hanson is a solitary rancher living a private life in Arizona by the Mexican border. Jim?s peace is interrupted when a mother and child cross from Mexico into the United States through a hole in the border fence on the edge of his property. The two are on the run from a drug cartel, and when the mom is shot, Jim agrees that he will take care of her boy, Miguel.
