It's the 1840s in rural England. A world-renowned fossil hunter is working alone on the Southern coastline. She finds herself selling common fossils to tourists, since her heyday of finding rare and valuable fossils have long since subsided. When a tourist who happens to be very wealthy makes her an offer to take care of his sick wife, it is an offer that she cannot refuse. What will the new relationship develop into?
