In a spin-off of "The Walking Dead," a dysfunctional family including high school counselor Madison Clark, her fiance English teacher Travis Manawa, Madison's daughter Alicia, Madison's drug-addicted son Nick, Travis' son from a previous marriage Chris, and Chris' mother Liza, among others, live in the zombie apocalypse. In this cruel new world, they must learn what it takes to survive in it. In addition to dealing with zombies, Madison, Travis, and the rest must learn to live as a blended family and all that it entails.
