Anna Wyncomb's life is a mess. Her beloved mom has recently passed away, Anna hasn't coped well with the loss, and she just found out her dad is gay. (She's fine with it; it was a big surprise, though.) Then her coffee shop, which she didn't insure, burns to the ground. Hoping her luck will begin to turn around, she gets involved with an underground, all-woman fight club. Although Anna doesn't know it, she has a personal connection to the founding of the club.
