In a fishing village located in the the remotest part of Iceland lives a girl named Sigga. She has just graduated high school and wants nothing more in life than to venture to the United States and move to California and spend her days writing poetry. However, a romantic entanglement lay in wait when a young boy who has a crush on Sigga comes back from America and declares he does not want her to go.
