After years of struggling with ALS, Lily decides that she is going to end her life by her own hands. Paul and she invite close family to their beach house for a last gathering of sorts to say goodbye. What everyone hopes is going to be a sentimental affair goes awry when Lily's two daughters bring up past issues that have gone unresolved. Everyone learns about hope and love during the ordeal.
