After Bohemian artist Robert's wife passes away, he meets with his estranged son Jack to try and sell the inherited house quickly. They find themselves at odds when they discover the once-gorgeous villa has been allowed to fall into a state of severe disrepair. Hijinx ensue when Robert, who is not a handyman at all, hires some of the more interesting locals to help with the renovations. He eventually falls for one of the lovely ladies who come to help.
