Will Truman is a gay lawyer living in New York City. His best friend, Grace Adler, is a straight interior designer. Will's other closest and dearest friend is a flamboyant gay man named Jack McFarland who drifts between art and other projects. The only other person in Grace's life who is as close to her as Will is her blunt assistant Karen Walker. Karen doesn't really need to work, but she considers it a fun outlet. The two friends usually have zero luck when it comes to love. When Grace's current relationship ends right before a walk down the aisle, Will allows her to move in with him. It was only supposed to be a temporary arrangement, but they soon realize that it might just be forever...
